Wandering — as far back as my memory takes me, I have yielded to its insatiable urge. Much like a moth to a flame, the delight of movement and discovery combined has always had a magnetic pull on me.

I'm M. Townsend — a writer living between Truckee, California, and Vagliagli, Italy, in the hills of Chianti. This site has become my author's home — a place where readers can find news and links to my writing and creative work.
